Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias will visit Israel and Cyprus on Wednesday to meet with his counterparts.
In Israel, Dendias will discuss with Foreign Minister Yair Lapid the further strengthening of the already excellent cooperation between Greece and Israel in all sectors.
They will also discuss the developments in the eastern Mediterranean and in the wider region of the Middle East.
Later, Dendias will visit Cyprus where is expected to be received by Cyprus Republic President Nicos Anastasiades.
He will also meet with his counterpart Nikos Christodoulides and with the mayor of Famagusta Simos Ioannou.
Dendias and Christodoulides will make joint statements to the press at about 14:00.
This visit, one day after the 47th anniversary from the Turkish invasion of Cyprus, is part of the efforts for the solution of Cyprus issue according to UN's Safety Council Treaties and of the European Acquis, namely a bizonal, bicommunal federation.
Τhe close coordination against the illegal Turkish behaviour will also be discussed.
