CONGRATULATIONS TO THE Milwaukee Bucks on winning their 1st
Championship in 50 years with a 105-98 win over the Phoenix Suns in Game 6 of the 2021 Finals, as they came back from down 0-2 to win the 4 games to win their 1st NBA Championship since 1971.
Giannis Antetokounmpo capped one of the greatest NBA Finals ever with 50 points — and a championship Milwaukee waited 50 years to win again.
Antetokounmpo had 50 points, 14 rebounds and five blocked shots as the Bucks beat the Suns to win the series 4-2.
The Phoenix Suns had an amazing season despite the loss. Chris Paul scored 26 points. Devin Booker scored 19 points, and Jae Crowder contributed with 15 points and 13 rebounds. They could not stop Giannis, and the bench didn’t come through. The Suns have a young team, and they will be back next season.
It was the third game of this series with at least 40 points and 10 rebounds for Antetokounmpo, a dominant performance that in just his first appearance takes its place among some of the game’s greats.
He shot 16 for 25 from the field and made 17-of-19 free throws.
Giannis is the 7th player in NBA history to have 50 points in the Finals.
The last two? LeBron James in 2018 and Michael Jordan in 1993.
