Greek Deputy FM in Lebanon on a 'holy' mission

Greece's Deputy Foreign Minister Mr. Konstantinos Vlasis will be visiting Lebanon today Thursday 22 July to meet with His Beatitude the Patriarch of Antioch, John I, at the Patriarchal Monastery in Balaman in the context of his portfolio responsibilities for Religious and Ecclesiastical Affairs.

 

The Deputy Foreign Minister will hold a meeting with His Eminence the Metropolitan of Beirut Mr. Elias, while his schedule also includes meetings with expatriate, academic and business organizations.

Finally, Mr. Vlasis will visit the University of Balamad, the Theological School of Agios Ioannis of Damascus, the Cathedral of Agios Georgios in Beirut, as well as the Orthodox Hospital of Agios Georgios.
