Judicial authorities in Mytilene proceeded with the pre-trial detention of a 70-year-old.
The man was arrested last Monday and is accused of raping a 34-year-old woman with a disability, Sputnik Hellas reported.
His arrest was made after the woman complained to the Mytilene Prosecutor's Office.
They charged him with the most serious criminal charge of rape and abuse against someone incapable of resisting sexual acts.
After testifying and with the consent of the investigator and prosecutor, the accused was remanded in custody.
