The island of Lefkada was slightly shaken by a seismic tremor measuring 3.6 on the Richter scale minutes after midnight Tuesday 27 July.
According to the Geodynamic Institute the earthquake was of magnitude 3 on the Richter scale, however with the revision the seismic vibration "rose" to 3.6 Richter.
The focal depth was very small - at ten kilometers - hence the disturbance caused in the surrounding areas.
According to the Geodynamic Institute, the quake occurred 19 kilometers southwest of Lefkada.
