Tourist arrested over fake Covid test certificate

Authorities arrested a foreign national  last week in Piraeus port on charges of attempted forgery during routine inspections of travellers.

Specifically, the 31-year-old tourist was arrested by officials of the Central Port Authority of Piraeus for possession of a fake  AG RAPID TEST COVID-19 (negative) in order to travel to Crete.

Investigators from the  Central Port Authority of Piraeus are currently examining the case.
