Counter-terrorism police arrested a 28-year-old Moroccan illegal immigrant in Thessaloniki after an outstanding international arrest warrant was issued against him for being a member of ISIS.
Greek police arrested the individual on Tuesday afternoon.
According to Thestival, the international arrest warrant against him was issued in March.
The accused ISIS member did not have a residency permit to be in Greece.
Moroccan authorities say that the individual was a member of ISIS but did not provide any further details to Greek prosecuting and judicial authorities.
