Greek Foreign Affairs Minister Nikos Dendias expressed his sincere condolences over the loss of lives in wildfires in Turkey, including at the Turkish Foreign Minister’s home region of Antalya, the ministry wrote on Twitter on Thursday.
Speaking to his Turkish counterpart Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu on the phone, Dendias also expressed Greece’s readiness to provide assistance if requested, it was noted in the ministry’s tweet.

At least four people have lost their lives in forest fires burning for days now in southern Turkey.
