Four men have been arrested over the alleged gang rape of a 20 year old Austrian tourist after pressing charges against them on the island of Skiathos, according to media reports.
According to e-thessalia.gr, the young tourist met one of the men on Friday night whilst partying on the island and agree to follow him to his apartment. There she was unexpectedly greeted by another three men who allegedly raped her.
The men, who are all Greek nationals aged 30, 28, 26 and 27 deny the rape and claimed the young woman had consented to sex.
All four men were arrested and will appear before a prosecutor today.
