COVID-19: 3,428 new cases in Greece on Tuesday, 14 deaths

Greek health authorities announced 3,428 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, of which 14 were identified after checks at the country's borders.

The total number of cases amounts to 501,030 (daily change + 0.8%), of which 51.2% are men.

Based on the confirmed cases over the last seven days, 162 are considered to be related to travel from abroad and 1,722 are related to an already known case.

There were 14 new deaths attributed to COVID-19.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, a total of 12,997 deaths have been recorded.

95.2% had underlying disease and / or age 70 years and older.

The number of patients treated by intubation is 191 (64.9% men).

Their median age is 65 years.

82.2% have an underlying disease and / or age 70 years and older.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, 2,815 patients have been discharged from the ICU.

142 new patients have been admitted to hospital with COVID-19 (daily change -14.97%).

The average seven-day admission is 171 patients.

The median age of cases is 41 years (range 0.2 to 106 years), while the median age of death is 78 years (range 0.2 to 106 years).
