Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's, Security and Foreign Policy advisor, Mesut Hakkı Caşın, has returned to his usual platform on CNN Türk to make renewed threats and insults against Greece.

During an appearance on a CNN Türk show, Caşın referred to tensions in Greek-Turkish relations, provocatively warning: "A normal Greek should not quarrel with a Turk, because he knows he will eat wood."

Commenting on the new Greek equipment and the acquisition of French Rafale aircraft for the Air Force, the Turkish President's Security and Foreign Policy Adviser described Greece as a "flea" that stands tall against Turkey.

"Now a flea is rising up against a big country like Turkey, after 1974 it is challenging and re-arming," he said, recalling the Turkish invasion of Cyprus in 1974.
