Today will be the last "goodbye" to 38-year-old Vassilis Filoras, the volunteer who lost his life in Ippokratio Politia during the great fires that broke out in Attica. The collapse of wiring on an electricity pole took the life of the 38-year-old father of two children.

Filoras was making drones for the Greek army, ERT and the Civil Protection.

He was a drone technician and a specialised pilot who paved the way for others.

The Up Stories team, which has become famous for its drone videos, said goodbye to its partner with a very moving video.

The video shows the 38-year-old with his associates and in his hand, as always, his favourite drone.

"Have a good trip up there buddy," they write at the end of the video.
