Serbia negotiates with Cyprus for purchase of 11 fighter helicopters

Serbia is negotiating with the Republic of Cyprus for the purchase of 11 Mi-35P fighter helicopters, news agency Tanjug reported.

The two countries' defense ministries are said to be in talks to buy and sell 11 Mi-35P attack helicopters, as well as equipment and weapons.

Cyprus bought 24 B-52 Nora assault rifles and eight light Milos armored vehicles from Serbia for $50m, the Balkan Security Network portal reported.

At the end of July this year, Cyprus reported that it used only 12 artillery pieces and 10 combat vehicles.
