"Alexander the Great": Military exercises between Greek and American Special Operations forces

Yesterday, the international "ALEXANDER THE GREAT" military exercise was successfully completed between units from Greece's Special Warfare Command and the US Marine Corps.

The joint exercises were first conducted in the wider land and sea area of ​​Attica from August 2 to August 13 and then again in the wider area of ​​Magnesia from August 16 to August 27.

This training is part of the updated Mutual Defense Cooperation Agreement (MDCA) with the US and aims to upgrade the level of cooperation, understanding and exchange of know-how between the participating forces.

It is also to increase operational capabilities and interoperability between the Special Operations Forces.
