Dendias to visit Skopje on Tuesday

Greek Foreign Affairs Minister Nikos Dendias will visit Skopje on Tuesday, following an invitation by his North Macedonia counterpart Bujar Osmani. 

In the Republic of North Macedonia, Dendias will be accompanied by Deputy Foreign Minister responsible for Economic Diplomacy Costas Fragogiannis.

Following the meeting, the two foreign ministers are expected to make statements to the press (around 11:45 Athens time).

The Greek foreign minister is also scheduled to meet consecutively with Prime Minister Zoran Zaev, Deputy Prime Minister for European Affairs Nikola Dimitrov, Parliament President Talat Xhaferi and President Stevo Pendarovski.

Talks are expected to examine the entire range of bilateral relations, including the economy, energy, the country's European prospects, and developments in the western Balkans and the region.

It is expected that Dendias will reiterate the need for the full, consistent and in good faith implementation of the Prespa Agreement provisions.
