Education Minister Niki Kerameus reassured on Wednesday in an interview with SKAI radio that school protocols will change as live education should not be interrupted.
Kerameus said that there will be announcements in the following days and after the relevant discussions with the experts committee are concluded.
"We are leaving behind the policy of closing schools and we opt for increased testing and face masks in every class and lesson except for gymnastics," she said.
Finally, she said that the top priority is the opening of all the education structures adding that approximately 80 percent of the teaching staff has been vaccinated.
She said that if we add a 10 percent that has been infected and cured, there is only a 10 percent that is not protected against COVID-19.
