A 3.5 months old has been hospitalised in Chios after catching the COVID-19 virus.
The director of the hospital, Eleni Kantaraki, said that within the day it will be judged whether the baby will be transported for treatment in a pediatric hospital in Athens.
The same thing happened about 10 days ago, with another infant and a child, again from Chios.
At the same time, for some 24 hours now, another infant has tested positive for COVID-19 and is being treated in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of the Venizelio Hospital in Heraklion.
The baby entered the unit just 26 days old and today close the first month of his life.
His mother seems to be positive about the recovery.
