THESSALONIKI: Foreign national busted in possession of 13 kilos of heroin

Greek police have arrested a 33 year old Georgian national for possession of 13.5 kilos heroin in Nikopoli, Thessaloniki.

Police reported that the man was an "an important member of a well-organized heroin trafficking ring".

It is suspected that the heroin was  destined for trafficking in the urban complex of Thessaloniki.

As announced, 27 packages of heroin were confiscated, weighing a total of 13 kilos and 852 grams.

Police located the drugs in the car driven by the 33 year old and at his home.
