Emergency restrictions to contain the spread of COVID-19 were decided on Friday for the regional units of Achaia and Ilia, as well as for the municipality of the island of Ikaria, and are in effect from Friday until September 10 at 06:00.
According to the ministerial decision, a curfew is in effect from 01:00 to 06:00.
Locals can leave their home only to go to work and during work hours or for health reasons.
There will be no music in bars and other venues except for wedding and christening receptions.
At the same time, it was decided to extend the restrictive measures for COVID-19 in the regions of Messinia and Heraklio, Crete, until September 10.
