KEFALLONIA: Divers do massive underwater clean up of Agia Efimia Bay

The bay of Agia Efimia on the island of Kefallonia reportedly underwent an ambitious underwater clean-up thanks to the efforts of local divers.

As reported in a social media post by Vivien Bales , divers from Aquatic and Fiscardo Divers, led by Makis Sotiropoulos gave their time to clear some debris from the bay that was left from last September's Medicane cyclone.

Cyclone Ianos, also known as Medicane Ianos, was a rare Mediterranean tropical-like cyclone (medicane) that impacted Greece on 17 and 18 September 2020.
