Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias visited the Romanian-speaking country of Moldova immediately after his visit to neighbouring Romania.
At the beginning of his visit to Moldova, Dendias visited the historic building that housed the headquarters of the Friendly Society (Filiki Eteria) in Chisinau, which belonged to Michalis Katsikas.
In Moldova, the Foreign Minister met with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Nicu Popescu.
At the end of the talks, the signing of a "Bilateral Agreement on Social Security" took place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
A meeting with the Prime Minister of Moldova Natalia Gavriliță also occurred.
The Foreign Minister's visit to Moldova ended with his meeting with President Maia Sandu.
The talks, as announced in a Foreign Ministry statement, are expected to focus on strengthening bilateral ties and strengthening EU-Moldova relations.
