Evros: Turkish human traffickers try to smuggle migrants into Greece (VIDEO)

Turkish human traffickers attempted to smuggle migrants illegally into Greece via Evros on Monday night.

The video shows more than 60 people trying to cross the Greek-Turkish border at Evros under the guidance of traffickers.

The new attack was prevented by Greek border guards who have increased their patrols along the river, as traffickers have recently intensified attempts to cross.

In fact, in the video published by OPEN from a thermal camera, a Turkish gendarme is also seen with the traffickers and migrants.

He is said to have lowered the people on the path to cross into Greece.
