The Acropolis archaeological site will be closed to the public from 08:00 to 10:30 on Sunday for security reasons, the Culture & Sports Ministry said on Thursday.
High-ranking foreign delegations will be visiting the Acropolis site, hence its closure.
Because of the high-ranking delegation visit, there will be no metro routes to the Athens International Airport (AIA) station on Friday from 15:30 to 16:00, according to a new announcement of the Urban Rail Transport S.A.
In addition, the schedule will be affected again on Saturday, with the time yet to be announced.
