British beauty Naomi Campbell will join forces with the Queen's Commonwealth Trust (QCT) international development charity to take on the role of global ambassador to support new leaders.

Founded in 2018, the foundation supports young people who promote change in their communities in areas such as health, the environment and education.

Aiming to mark Queen Elizabeth's  70 years on the British throne in 2022, the charity is launching a Platinum Jubilee Fund for Young Leaders to provide greater support to entrepreneurs aged 18-3 years in the 54 countries of the Commonwealth.

As global ambassador, Campbell's role will be to enhance the profile of the fund's fundraising campaign, as well as to promote the work of its young leaders.
