Hollywood Star Glenn Close in Greece for Israeli spy-thriller series ‘Tehran’

Hollywood star and eight times Oscar nominee Glenn Close was in Greece earlier this month for the filming of the Israeli spy-thriller series ‘Tehran’  reported the Athens Film Office.

During filming of “Tehran” in the Athens district of Kypseli, the actress had the opportunity to meet with Athens Mayor Kostas Bakoyannis and US Ambassador to Athens Geoffrey Pyatt. (photo)

During her time in Greece, Glenn Close also had the opportunity to attend the world premiere of “Oedipus” directed by Thomas Ostermeyer in Epidaurus accompanied by the newly appointed director of the Acropolis Museum Nikos Stambolidis, and Paloma Picasso, the daughter of artist Pablo Picasso.
