Greek President Katerina Sakellaropoulou received a five-member delegation of French parliamentarians of the France-Greece Friendship Group on Tuesday.
The meeting was attended by Greek MP Christodoulos Stefanadis, chairman of the corresponding committee at the Greek Parliament.
Sakellaropoulou highlighted the long-standing and historical friendship and respect between the two peoples, reflected in bilateral and multilateral collaborations and in close contact at political, parliamentary and adminstrative levels.
Discussion included the pandemic, climate change, migration issue and regional developments in the southeastern Mediterranean, while the French MPs briefed the Greek president on their work and the activities of the Group in their Parliament.
