Giannis Antentokounmpo celebrated mum and brother's Greek citizenship, Greek taverna-style! (VIDEO)

Following the honorary Greek citizenship ceremony for his mother and brother Alex, Giannis Antentokounmpo and family celebrated the great news at the famous souvlaki tavern "Tzimis" (Jimmy's) in the Athens suburb of Virona on Sunday night, reports Proto Thema.

It was smiles and laughter all-round for the Antentokounmpo family which celebrated the  occasion with souvlakia and a cake!

On Thursday, September 16, the mother of the NBA basketball player and his brother were honorably naturalized Greek citizens in a ceremony attended by the Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, who stated about the event "in your face we see the Greece we want".
