Real estate taxes for 2021 posted by online tax service

The tax service posted the annual notices for real estate taxes (ENFIA) for 2021 on Wednesday, accessible to taxpayers by logging in to myAADE.

Property taxes to be collected by the state total slightly over 2.5 billion euros, and taxpayers may settle their debts in six installments.

The first one may be paid with the second one at the end of October (at no extra fees), while the last one is scheduled for the end of February 2022.

According to the government, amounts will differ from 2020 only if someone sold or bought property, and those who legalized property.

Some 1.3 million taxpayers will see a 50% reduction from 2020 or even zero percent, based on revenues declared in 2020.
