Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias met with his Panamanian counterpart Erika Mouynes on the sidelines of the 76th UN General Assembly in New York.
In a tweet, the Panamanian said "Thanks Nikos Dendias for this productive encounter. With this meeting, we reaffirm our interest in strengthening our commercial ties and strengthening the bilateral agenda. Greece is a friend and key partner of Panama."
Dendias highlighted the "fruitful exchange of views" on deepening cooperation, "especially in the fields of trade, investment and shipping, as well as in the context of International and regional Organizations."
