Once again, Maria Sakkari played an excellent game, beating Teresa Martincová 2-0 (7-5, 6-3) and securing her place in the semifinals of the Ostrava Open.
Coming off the back of a great victory against Jeļena Ostapenko, she prevailed over the Czech woman and is through to the next phase of the tournament, where she will face the winner of the Iga Swiatek vs Elena Rybakina match.
The Greek played almost flawlessly, played very smart against the weaknesses of her opponent and confirmed for another match that she is in excellent condition.
