International star Monica Bellucci was treated to a tour of the Acropolis Museum followed by a dinner in her honour after the conclusion of her performance as Maria Callas in the show "Maria Callas: Letters and Memories" at the Herodion theatre on Thursday night, reported Greek media.
Acropolis Museum Director Nikos Stambolidis gave the star and director Tom Volf a tour of the museum followed by a dinner where they were joined by the who's who of Athenian society.
The Italian star was in Greece from on September 21, 22 and 23 where she took the stage of the Herodion and enchanted audiences in her performance of Maria Callas.
Monica Bellucci's interpretation was based on the book of the same name by Tom Volf - director of the play, but also of the recent film "Maria by Callas" - in which he collected more than 350 unpublished letters of the Greek opera diva, written by Callas over 30 years (1946-1977).
