Tourism Minister Vassilis Kikilias met on Monday with German Ambassador Ernst Reichel at the Tourism Ministry in Athens.
At the meeting, an announcement said, they reaffirmed the strong ties and the common will for the further strengthening of cooperation between the two countries in tourism as Greece is one of the top tourist destinations for Germans.
In this context, Kikilias and the ambassador discussed initiatives and actions for the support of winter tourism in Greece.
They also discussed the result of the German elections, as well as the procedures for the formation of a new government in Germany.
