Mitsotakis in Paris: Greece and France deepening strategic collaboration

Speaking from the French capital of Paris on Monday evening, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis told Greece's national broadcaster ERT that "we are heading towards a substantial deepening of the strategic collaboration between Greece and France."

Replying to a reporter's question on how close the two countries are to signing a defense agreement, the Greek premier noted that he will be holding a lengthy discussion with French President Emmanuel Macron with announcements on Tuesday morning.

Currently in Paris for the opening of the exhibition 'Paris-Athens: Birth of Modern Greece' at the Louvre Museum, Mitsotakis was received by President Macron at the Louvre.

The two leaders inaugurated the exhibition together and then held a working dinner at the Palais des Champs-Elysees.
