NBA players will no longer be tested for marijuana according  to a National Basketball Players Association (NBPA) memo ESPN reported yesterday.

'The agreement between the NBA and the NBPA is a repeat of an amended policy that began with the 2020 Orlando restart and continued through the 2020-21 season and remains again amid the league and union's COVID-19 protocols," noted ESPN.

However, sampling tests for the use of "drugs of abuse, but also of enhancers" will continue normally this season in what is the world's top basketball league, according to a memo from the National Basketball Association.

It should be noted that in last year's restart of the NBA in the "bubble" of Orlando, the tests for marijuana use were suspended.
