Mikis Theodorakis: Crowd at the 40-day memorial of the late composer in Crete (PHOTOS)

In the Church of Saint Nikolaou in Galata on Saturday morning, the memorial service was held to mark forty days since the death of Mikis Theodorakis, in the presence of his daughter Margarita and his son Georgios, who were in Crete with their families.

According to Creta24, the ceremony was undertaken by the municipality of Chania, which has announced that the house of Giannis and Miki Theodorakis in Galatas will be open for the weekend, from 10.00 to 14:00.

Also, the Municipal Philharmonic is preparing a twenty-minute program in Galata Square with compositions by the late composer.
