A lawsuit was filed against a 46-year-old woman in Thessaloniki who allegedly rented a private, non-professional space at Mesimeri for a coronaparty for over 100 party-goers despite public health orders prohibiting such gatherings due to the pandemic.

The woman rented the space to two people who organised the party, in clear violation of emergency public health orders.

According to the police, some 100 people were found in the early hours of Sunday in a private area and an administrative fine of 50,000 euros was imposed on the 46-year-old woman

Investigations are being carried out to identify the two people who rented the space.
