Themistokleous to tour northern Greece to boost vaccination numbers

On Tuesday, Secretary General of Primary Health Care Marios Themistokleous, will pay a three-day visit to northern Greece as part of efforts to increase vaccinations and strengthen the wall of immunity against the COVID-19 disease.

Themistokleous will visit areas of Macedonia and will hold meetings with health professionals, as well as with bodies of the local administration regarding the actions taken for the intensification of the vaccination programme.

The campaign will last until October 14.

Currently, at least 58.4% of Greeks are fully vaccinated, with 60.7% receiving at least one dose.
