Greek hoteliers are seeing a return to normalcy for tourism from the spring of 2022, with the winter being difficult for the next period until March 22, especially for the hotels of continuous operation, either in the cities or in the mountains.
And if the Greek summer season of 2021 has gone much better than expected, the tourist restart "has many peculiarities and summer vacations are not at the same speed as the city break, with corporate travel, with conference tourism and the exhibitions that accept the very strong competition of digital events, as of course with the excursions in the mountains and semi-mountains of the whole mainland."
This is pointed out by Mr. Grigoris Tassios, president of the Panhellenic Hoteliers Federation (POX), which held its general assembly, making the report of the industry in the midst of a pandemic.
