Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias arrived in Libya on Thursday at the invitation of his Libyan counterpart Najla El Mangoush to attend the Libya Stabilisation Initiative meeting.
The summit is a Libyan initiative and the countries mainly invited to attend are those neighbouring Libya, as well as the countries in the Berlin Process, according to a statement from the Greek foreign ministry.
The summit is expected to focus on two key areas: security and the economy/growth.
