Deputy Minister of Interior, Stelios Petsas, received the third dose of the COVID-19 and wrote about it on his social media.
Petsas wrote: "Us being vaccinated means that we live!"
It is recalled that Professor Sotiris Tsiodras emphasised yesterday the effectiveness, safety and necessity of COVID-19 vaccinations.
The winter period is especially critical for Greece with the visible threat for the simultaneous circulation of influenza and other respiratory viruses, in parallel with COVID-19.
"The more we are vaccinated, the less the effects of the disease in our country will be. The need to strengthen the vaccination effort at the national level is extremely important," said Tsiodras.
He emphasised that the need for rapid construction of a wall of immunity, "is one of the most important messages of my current emergency presence."
