With characteristic headlines, pro-government media in Turkey highlighted SYRIZA's objections to Greece's recent defence agreements with France and the United States, commenting that it is waging a "war war" against Ankara.
The reports refer to what was said in the recent intense bras de fer between Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and opposition leader Alexis Tsipras in the parliament.
"Greek opposition reacts against Athens government," is the headline of the national network TRT Haber, which talks about the reactions of the opposition to the government policy towards Turkey.
"The government's defence policy is provoking reactions in Greece. The opposition accuses Mitsotakis of waging war against Turkey," the article states.
It claimed that: "A harsh government is being exercised for the fact that the government puts the people in the psychology of war."
The AKSAM newspaper writes: "They bombed Mitsotakis in Parliament: You are waging war against Turkey," when commenting on the reactions of the opposition.
At the same time, reference is made to a recent poll in Greece, according to which 43% of the respondents consider the provocation of a war episode by Turkey possible.
The " STAR" newspaper speaks of "severe accusations" against the Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis from SYRIZA, emphasising that: "The opposition in Greece continues to react to the government's policy towards Turkey."
"The opposition accuses Mitsotakis that carries warmongering against Turkey," it added.
