Greek ministry of foreign affairs holds climate crisis conference

The Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs under the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Miltiadis Varvitsiotis, in collaboration with the European Public Law Organization (EPLO), is co-organising a conference on climate change today, Monday (25/10).

The conference, entitled:  "Towards COP26: Challenges for the EU in relation to and Adaptation to Climate Change, " is being held in view of the 26th UN Conference on Climate Change (COP26), which will take place in Glasgow from 31 October to 12 November.

The conference will open with greetings from the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Militiadis Varvitsiotis and the Director of EPLO, the former Minister of Interior and the former Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Spyros Flogaitis.

Afterwards, Mr. Varvitsiotis will participate in a discussion on "COP26 and climate diplomacy in the EU: Challenges for mitigating climate change".

The conference will take place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
