Minister of Citizen Protection Takis Theodorikakos announced that there will be an increase of police patrols in Athens and the wider Attica region.
“We had promised that from the beginning of November, 100 fully manned patrols will be added every night from 12 to 6 in the morning and 1000 new police officers will strengthen the departments of the Attica basin,” he said on Facebook.
“Our commitment is now a reality,” Theodorikakos continued.
He added: “Security for all, security everywhere.”
