Australian Ambassador Arthur Spyrou laid a wreath on Remembrance Day at Phaleron cemetery, Athens.
On Twitter, he said: Honoured to lay a wreath at the Remembrance Day service held by the French Embassy at the Commonwealth War Graves in Phaleron cemetery.”
“Remembering the sacrifice of the Allied soldiers in World War I and paying tribute to the more than 102,000 Australians who have died serving our nation,” he added.
