“The Armed Forces are the powerful, decisive and deterrent force that effectively guards both Greek and European borders on land, sea and air, making our country an oasis of security and stability in the troubled region of the Balkans and the Eastern Mediterranean. Guardians of the Homeland and eternal guardians of western civilization! This is exactly what the Armed Forces always was, is and will forever remain,” said Chief of the Hellenic National Defense General Staff (HNDS) General Konstantinos Floros.
