Afghans in Athens: We want houses, papers and open borders

Afghans in Athens, along with KEERFA (Movement Against Racism and Fascist Threat), demanded "houses, papers and open borders" on November 17.

November 17 commemorates the Athens Polytechnic Uprising in 1973, which was a massive demonstration of popular rejection of the Greek military junta of 1967–1974.

However, commemorations of the event was also used by KEERFA and Afghans in Athens to makes demands on the Greek government.
