Over 900 police officers receive special training against domestic violence

Citizen Protection Minister Takis Theodorikakos presented actions of his ministry and of the Hellenic Police against domestic violence at a New Democracy party youth event titled 'Break the cycle of violence against women' on Monday.

Some 73 special services are dealing with this issue.

Relevant offices have been set up in all police stations in the country, he said, including 6 dedicated departments.

Some 910 officers have received special training to deal with the phenomenon, Theodorikakos noted.
