Greek Foreign Affairs Minister Nikos Dendias will pay official visits to Ghana (November 24-25) and Gabon (November 25-26), as part of Greece's upgrading of relations in Sub-Saharan Africa, the ministry said on Tuesday.
Dendias will meet with his counterpart in Ghana, Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey, on Thursday and pay a visit to the Greek school in the country, as well as the St. Nicholas Church of Ghana.
In Gabon, the Greek minister will meet with his counterpart, Pacome Moubelet-Boubeya, on Friday (Nov. 26).
The Greek official's talks will focus on boosting collaboration with Greece in economy, investments, the application of International Law and the Law of the Sea in particular, and collaboration in international organizations.
In its statement, the ministry confirmed earlier reports by diplomatic sources that during Dendias' visit, 150,000 Covid-19 vaccines will be delivered to Ghana and 200,000 to Gabon.
