At a time when the Turkish economy is collapsing and the Turkish currency continues to experience one record drop after another, the leader of the Republican People's Party (CHP), Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, blames Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's government.
Turkish Defence Minister Hulusi Akar recently said that Greece is poorly equipped and is in an economic crisis and bankrupt.
Kılıçdaroğlu wondered how it is possible for Ankara to talk about the impoverishment of Greek people when receive nearly three times the wage of Turkish workers.
"Until yesterday, the government of Erdoğan said Greece is in 'misery. Destroyed. Greece is bankrupt'," he said.
"The basic wage in Greece is 2.7 times higher than Turkey. That is almost three times. Who lives in misery?" Kılıçdaroğlu added.

Protesters took to the streets of Ankara and Istanbul after the Lira plummeted 15 per cent against the dollar.
Opposition party members say that Turkey faces an economic catastrophe as allies are turning on Erdoğan.
The lira, which had already lost 45 per cent of its value over the year, fell to 13.45 to the dollar in the late afternoon, though it later cut back some losses.
