Main opposition SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance leader Alexis Tsipras accused the government of using failed economic recipes of the past which led the country to bankruptcy.
Addressing the General Assembly of the Central Union of Chambers of Greece on Saturday, Tsipras referred to the challenges of the climate crisis and of the 'double pandemic' of COVID-19 and price hike.
He said that the government cannot use the same recipe and expect to have different results.
The opposition leader also accused the government of trying to embellish the economic reality.
"The reality is very different and the government's choices are stuck to the same recipe that in past led to major crises," Tsipras said.
He also expressed the view that the mid-term fiscal targets should be reviewed immediately.
